zaia - personal event planning app
I set a north-star to make hosting personal events feel like a single conversational thread—plan, invite, coordinate, and capture memories in one place.
I led end-to-end design (vision, IA, prototyping, and user testing) and partnered with eng to ship a fast but beautifully designed feature-complete iOS v1.
We saw 60% MoM growth in active hosts and strong invite→RSVP conversion before COVID forced a market pause.

amazon ai - conversational design
Amazon AI was a futuristic research lab within AWS. I was the UX POC responsible for the delivery of 2 critical conversation capabilities in Lex - Anaphora Resolution and Context Carryover.
I evangelized conversation design best practices and engaged with Lex Enterprise customers on best practices. As the design lead, I visited McDonalds onsite with product and aided in inking a 4-Billion Dollar multi-year enterprise deal with AWS.
I also had the opportunity to work with 20+ Enterprise clients in various field ranging from healthcare to insurance to educate them on how to effectively use Lex along with solutions architects.

figma make - an x-feature request which came to life
Shared a feature request on X for Figma to make Figma Make editable; the founder liked and bookmarked it, and a month later Figma quoted my tweet as they launched the feature.
I prototyped the interaction I had in mind within an hour and responded to Dylan Field.
The video shows a user uploading an image and Figma converting it into editable layers. Some commenters thought that wasn’t the point of my tweet—but it actually is. Current multimodal LLMs can ‘describe’ and recreate images rather than truly read them pixel-perfect. This implementation is the closest yet to the feature request as specced. Kudos to the @figma team for pulling off this magic!
upselling: e-commerce concept
Even the best commerce systems could use better upselling tools. Upselling when relevant and personalized has a tremendous impact on conversion and merchant outcomes.
Market research shows that nearly 49% of customers buy when presented with a relevant upsell — increasing customer LTV by up to 20%. Here's a quick imagination of how it could right into fashion brands, built on say Shopify or Faire.
The design decision to not show cart total right here is to make it about exploration. A perfect add on to a page like this, would be an AI Virtual Try-On Section.
variant picker: e-commerce concept
A simple color switcher can be an exciting pattern that sparks delight in some journeys. I explored alternatives to standard swatches and landed on this "color drop" inspired UI.
Color choice is often a key purchase decision, so seamless comparisons like this between available options can ease the process beautifully.
Next steps might include seeing how it looks on you via AI try-ons, turning static pages into immersive interactive experiences. Exciting times ahead in the world of hashtag#commerce
